Hello There! We're thedeanpeople. Yes, we were once described as Deaniacs and were demonized as being an angry mob - or worse yet - liberals. But if you've found your way to this website, we're pretty confident that you know that was all a lot of media rubbish. You might even know that Gov. Dean did not "scream" in that video clip shown 279 times in the 3 days following the Iowa caucus - or at least that no one in the room that night heard him scream, that he simply had the misfortune of using a microphone that picked up only his voice and not the deafening roar of supporters that he was trying to be heard over. Sort of changes your perspective, doesn't it? And that's what we're all about. (Huh?) We're about the people that made that deafening roar - literally and figuratively. And about changing perspectives on political activity in this (once) great nation.
